Seven Hills School seeks a collaborative and self-motivated Communications Manager to join our dynamic, energetic school to lead all communication efforts to both internal and external audiences. The Communications Manager will be in charge of creating and producing high-quality content, written and visual, that engages prospective families and continually builds brand recognition with current families and outside organizations.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that messaging from all areas of the school adheres to our brand standards and reflects our community values.
- Write weekly newsletters and regular email communications.
- Manage the school's social media presence, create engaging content, and actively evaluate performance analytics.
- Manage the school's website, create engaging content, and actively evaluate performance analytics.
- Capture the daily life of the school through photography and videography, including at River Days and on field trips.
- Collaborate with the Advancement team to find innovative solutions to enrollment management and development pain points.
- Work closely with the Director of Advancement and consultants on advertising campaigns for both digital and print platforms, and actively evaluate performance analytics.
- Seek out opportunities for outreach events for the Head of School and Director of Advancement; organize and oversee events.
- Establish ongoing relationships with local media outlets; write and disseminate press releases.
- Work with the Head of School to address emergency communication needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in communications and marketing, experience in an educational or nonprofit environment preferred.
- A track record of delivering innovative marketing and communications content and outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
- Graphic design skills and experience in Adobe Creative Suite products and Canva.
- Tech-savviness with experience using CMS and CRM software; experience with Finalsite, Mailchimp, Blackbaud SIS, and Raiser's Edge NXT is a plus.
- Photography, videography, and editing skills.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines.
- A finger on the pulse of current and emerging marketing and communications trends, particularly in the realms of social media and inbound marketing.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing, synthesizing, and clearly communicating large and complex amounts of information to a variety of audiences across multiple platforms.
- Strong analytical skills; experience with Google Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in an educational or nonprofit environment.
- Familiarity with CMS (Content Management System) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Finalsite, Mailchimp, Blackbaud SIS, and Raiser's Edge NXT.
- Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite products and Canva.
