Execute on internal and external communications strategy for a business segment.
Maintain a working-level understanding of the business segment, products and services.
Develop strategic communication plans for key events and announcements, including media opportunities, tactics and timelines consistent with the overarching communications strategy.
Write press releases, speeches, thought-leadership articles, media briefs and communications on behalf of senior leaders.
Develop proactive public relations to obtain positive media mentions on Truist products, services and purpose; leadership message development; spokesperson training; and internal communications at the segment level.
Plan content/messaging and graphics/videos for town halls, conferences, speaking engagements and events.
Create positive news to build the company's brand, advance our purpose, and promote our solutions and services.
Identify and consult with key stakeholders to ensure accuracy of information and data.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related training
3-5 years of related experience
Demonstrated corporate communications internal and external message development and project management
Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in using communications technology, video production and mass communications techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or English
Experience in Financial Services industry, or agency experience
