ART 180 is a nonprofit collective serving the Greater Richmond area by providing a space, free of judgement, that encourages creative self-expression while developing young creators and promoting them through exhibitions, performances, public art, and more. We partner with professional artists, schools, and community organizations to guide young people in developing skills to help them discover their own unique and important voice. We operate a teen center and gallery (Atlas) in Jackson Ward, where our office is located, and provide programs at partner locations across the community. We also own an adjacent residential condo and steward a public parklet out front.

The Development and Operations Coordinator supports our mission and day-to-day operations in critical ways both large and small. They will work closely as part of our operations team to meet the organization’s fundraising and programmatic goals and be a keystone team member, leading successful events and supporting donor stewardship. The coordinator will help us maintain a welcoming and high functioning environment, pleasing aesthetic, and positive vibe and see that everything is clean, well-organized, and in top condition. The position reports primarily to the Deputy Director and supports our entire team.

We are a community-centric organization that values using art as an amplifier, co-creating to innovate, making space for everyone’s voice, taking youth seriously, listening before we speak, and keeping curiosity close. Our programs promote creative development, holistic health, social entrepreneurship, connection to self and others, and self-actualization.

The ART 180 Collective is committed to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and to a personal philosophy that values the individual and respects differences of race, ethnicity and national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, ability, and socio-economic circumstance. We are an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate in any way protected by law.
