The Director of High School Placement and Support is responsible for cultivating and implementing a middle school-wide high school preparatory culture that educates students and their families about the high school opportunities in the independent and public school systems. They also support students and families with the high school admission process including, but not limited to, the application, interview, writing samples, financial aid applications, and placement decisions through continual communication with high schools and AJC families. They serve as the bridge between AJC families and our partnering independent schools admissions directors. In conjunction with The Director of Graduate Support, The Director of High School Placement and Support will work to ensure that students continue to feel supported by the School long after their 8th grade graduation, fulfill their individual potential, and achieve productive roles in society.
