The Department of Public Utilities Customer Service Division is seeking an Executive Assistant to serve as a strategic administrative partner, reporting directly to the Deputy Director, Senior. This pivotal role involves providing executive support, overseeing special projects, and coordinating executive outreach in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must possess adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, and a penchant for maintaining professionalism and creativity in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of day-to-day administrative functions and activities within the office.
- Leadership and guidance provision to the administrative support staff.
- Alignment with leadership team preferences and priorities to deliver optimal support.
- Meticulous calendar management with exceptional attention to detail.
- Facilitation of meeting agendas and logistics for internal and external gatherings.
- Proficient drafting of correspondence for confidential matters and routine inquiries.
- Preparation and maintenance of reports, presentations, and databases for senior leadership.
- Collaboration with the administrative team to ensure seamless divisional support.
- Planning and organization of work to meet senior executives’ priorities and organizational goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Training and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or public administration or a related field.
- Four years of journey-level professional experience in a relevant area.
- A Master's degree in business, public administration, or a directly related field may be preferred.
