Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support: Manage recruitment activities including posting job openings, coordinating museum LinkedIn account, and promptly responding to inquiries in assigned departments. Along with VMFA HR colleagues this role is responsible for coordinating and posting all openings to the internal VMFA jobs blog and sending weekly job opportunity internal communications.
Onboarding Assistance: Assist in the onboarding process including processing I-9s in the Federal E-Verify system. Attend bi-weekly Orientation and serve as a backup for new employee orientation sessions.
Payroll Entry: Along with VMFA payroll administration, handle payroll entry tasks, manage wage positions, and key weekly timesheets accurately. Assist in answering routine payroll inquiries.
Administrative Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date recruitment files in our HR Cloud repository. Maintain PageUp administrative support by ensuring the closeout of recruitments in the state job posting system.

Minimum Qualifications

Additional Considerations
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Previous or related experience working in a museum, state/local government, or institution of higher education.
