The City of Richmond Department of Justice Services is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position of Human Services Analyst. The incumbent is responsible for providing daily oversight of the operations of youth services, including administration of assessments, clinical services such as cognitive-based intervention and behavioral health services.
Responsibilities:
- Guiding, monitoring, and reviewing service delivery activities to ensure quality and safety.
- Preparing and reviewing client records, both paper and electronic, to ensure compliance with court-ordered conditions.
- Maintaining current knowledge of counseling approaches, evidence-based service modalities used for client service delivery, especially as they apply to criminal justice populations.
- Maintaining an inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Conducting employee performance evaluations.
- Serving as a liaison between the DJS and court partners.
- Facilitating training/education sessions to staff and partners across human service and public safety sectors.
- Performing other related work as assigned.
- Serving as a back-up for collecting deposit fees.
Schedule:
- Eight (8) hour shifts Monday through Friday, overtime as needed.
- Regular and on-call schedules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in human services.
- Prefer two years of experience in related fields.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and a valid Commonwealth of Virginia's Driver's License within 30 days of hire.
- Licensure in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology, or Qualified Mental Health Professional in the status of Licensure eligible in Counseling or social work.
Preferred Training and Experience:
- Training in evidence-based services.
- Valid Driver's License.
