Our Child Development Services (CDS) team is seeking a full-time Infant & Toddler Behavior Consultant. This position has combined administrative and direct service responsibilities and operates under the general direction and supervision of the CDS Project Manager. An 18-month commitment is expected; however, longer is appreciated.
Responsibilities include: Designing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating training & professional development within a designated region to increase the capacity of early care and education programs (childcare and family care) to promote social-emotional development of infants and toddlers; Provision of services to infant and toddler caregivers/teachers, directors, and families, to include: screening of infants and toddlers, coaching, recruitment, and technical assistance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a child-related field or field related to the provision of mental health consultation; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' direct service to include: 1 year of direct work with infants and toddlers; a minimum of 1 year working with adults (e.g. training, mentoring, or leading caregivers/teachers); 25-40 hours of previously delivered training experience. Background in early intervention preferred.
