The City of Richmond, Department of Information Technology is seeking a talented, innovative, and proven Management Analyst, Associate, with experience working as an Analyst, Product Management – Digital Print Specialist who is passionate about their work. This individual should be skilled at all aspects of design, have experience working in large scale print operations. The incumbent will operate a variety of high-speed digital B&W and Color multifunction equipment (Scan/Email/Print/Copying/Plotting). 


Additionally, they will be responsible for utilizing binding & mounting equipment onsite. The ideal candidate will provide quality reproduction of all materials submitted by customers via electronic requests, including binding, hole punching, stapling, drilling, mounting, and trimming. Must have thorough knowledge of the offset and digital printing process, including paper mechanics, varnishes, die-cutting. Must be detail-oriented and understand visual/written & verbal instructions. Provide technical direction and support to clients; lift and carry supplies, printed materials, and bulk paper. (Ability to lift up to 30 pounds).


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates and manages programs and projects; prepares necessary forms and other documentation; performs necessary administrative duties related to programs.
  • Receives, collects, and enters data and other information in databases or related systems; compiles and analyzes data, reaches conclusions and recommends proposals; summarizes and reports as necessary.
  • Prepares, distributes, and submits reports, logs, notes, and other documentation.
  • Performs administrative duties in the office such as maintaining inventory, maintaining personnel files, sorting and addressing incoming correspondences, etc.
  • Provides back-up support in department or focus area as needed; acts as a liaison when needed.
  • Assists with special programs and projects.

Qualifications, Special Certifications, and Licenses:


KNOWLEDGE:

  • General and special funds
  • Electronic databases and related software applications
  • Governmental accounting concepts
  • Intermediate to advanced level mathematics and statistics as applicable to appraisal measures and assessment ratio studies
  • Thorough knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

  • Analyzing and interpreting manuals and operating procedures
  • Assisting with special projects and programs
  • Communicating with various internal and external departments effectively
