Peter Paul seeks a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support all aspects of the organization through the creation and implementation of a communication and marketing strategy. This part-time fully remote position reports directly to the Director of Philanthropy but will work with all departments to promote and share Peter Paul’s mission with internal and external partners. The person in this position should embody Peter Paul’s values and share a passion for the mission to aid in the fight against generational poverty by supporting the students and families of Richmond’s East End.


Responsibilities Include

  • Create an annual marketing and communications plan
  • Manage the implementation of social media strategy across various platforms
  • Manage website and digital platforms and create social media content regularly.
  • Create and distribute regular electronic communications, working with the entire Peter Paul team for story input
  • Collaborate with departments to identify promotional material needs and opportunities for content and story telling
  • Oversee work of external contractors/vendors including graphic designers, mail houses, printers, photographers, and videographers.
  • Manage and organize digital photography and video archives.
  • Coordinate and/or provide support for philanthropy team with appeals and social campaigns

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree 1-3 years of marketing/communications experience
    • Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite
    • Proven experience with social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn) and social media management platforms 
    • Photography and graphic design skills preferred 
    • Keen attention to detail 
    • Strong written and oral communication skills 
    • Extremely organized 
    • Self-starter and highly motivated
