The City of Richmond Department of Information Technology has an open position for a Production II Mailroom Technical Support Representative within the City of Richmond Printing Services office. Responsibilities Include:
- Collecting, organizing, and managing all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of mail to specified locations.
- Handling paper claims, preparing batches for courier pick-up, and maintaining courier box security.
- Transporting mail, supplies, and documents to various off-site locations.
- Maintaining inventory of required City of Richmond letterhead, envelopes, and check paper.
- Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping procedures.
- Providing high-quality copy and print production services.
- Maintaining facility organization and compliance with security and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Six months related office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Minimum one-year work experience in an office or mailroom.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in communication for USPS and internal coordination.
- Ability to multitask, track progress, and respond to queries efficiently.
- Ability to handle tasks with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in computer applications for data entry and supply management.

- Capability to perform detailed work on multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting, standing, reaching, and operating machinery.
