The Medical Society of Virginia Foundation (MSVF) is seeking a Program Coordinator to provide administrative assistance, information management, data analysis and other support services to fulfill the MSV Foundation’s mission. The incumbent will support the Foundation team in all aspects of Board relations, managing programs, development activities, and daily operations. This position will serve as an essential member of the MSV Foundation team as the Foundation continues to expand and develop programs and initiatives to nurture physician and PA leadership, provider wellness, and improvements in healthcare quality.
Major Duties
- Provide support to the MSV Foundation Board and MSVF leadership.
- Coordinate logistics for MSVF current programs, including leadership, wellness, public health, and continuing education initiatives.
- Support all aspects of the MSVF fundraising gala and Salute to Service awards.
- Maintain the donor database (Jarvis), report generation, and donor recognition program.
- Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters, tax receipts and other fundraising support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in non-profit/fundraising and/or membership.
- Excellent communication and writing skills required.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple senior leaders.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships.
- Results oriented.
- Strong work ethic with ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
- Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities.
- Competent and proficient understanding of customer service platforms and tools including customer databases (Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
