The Triage Nurse works closely with the team to provide exceptional care within the clinic. In addition, the hired Nurse will be performing verbal assessments, triaging symptoms, and providing advice throughout the patients cancer journey.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform verbal assessments and triage symptoms of patients with cancer
- Provide advice and support to patients and their families throughout their cancer journey
- Work closely with the clinic team to provide exceptional care to patients
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state
- AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
- Experience with cancer patients is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited program
- Certification in oncology nursing
