ChamberRVA is seeking a person who will lead and execute leadership offerings including the Young Professional programming and events, two important leadership programs and coordinate other leadership related programs for ChamberRVA members and the business community throughout the Richmond region. The Senior Program Manager, Leadership & Engagement will work closely with the VP Community Engagement & Resource Development to drive strategic direction and develop programming for ChamberRVA while being responsible for developing and achieving respective monetary goals.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, eager to be part of a team of hard-working and passionate professionals, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at the same time.
Essential functions include
- Developing, implementing and evaluating programs that meet the needs of emerging and existing leaders, including Young Professionals.
- Generating resources to support the programs and the Chamber.
- Serving as a resource to members interested in developing leadership skills and engaging in Chamber volunteer or civic engagement opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong commitment to building a welcoming, vibrant Richmond region where young professionals and leaders want to stay and make an impact
- Demonstrated experience in event, program and project management, as well as fundraising expertise
- Marketing experience also preferred
- Excellent computer skills, in both Microsoft suite and Apple environments
